Large valley repair.

Tenant complained about the foul smell in her unit.after a detailed inspection we found these large stain
a lot of insulation had to be removed.it was saturated with water
From the outside looked just as good as the rest of the roof.
Looks are deceiving

Visible damage.

not so visible.

Part of the problem. But we are here to make things better.

Looking at the other dormer.no shingle overhang

weird enclosure.it just trapped debri and collected water

Cleaned out

Different roofersview

During

Very strange.but definitely visible.water dripping

And the fun begins.Pictures do speak a thousand words

Water logged.

We have to go past the affected area.
It will be watertight tonight, again heavy rains expected.

Unfortunately this happens to be at the base of the valley.

This portion of the roof suffers the most wear and tear.
Water rushes down from two roof slopes

Removed all water damaged plywood

Very hard to find from the inside, such a tight spot to crawl to inside of the attic

Amazing.

We have to go past the affected portion in all directions

Plywood being replaced and the rest of the wet insulation ready to be removed

Waterproofing membrane instead of felt paper.

Also existing vents will be replaced.

Extra care placed on the tie-in.the new shingles and the existing roof

Placed piece of aluminum on fascia.

Long day but mission has been accomplished

Watertight for a long time.Heavy rains expected all week long
