Large water leak ,causes and solutions

curled up shingle allows water to be "injected " underneath  shingle
tabs
openings around window  allows water to get behind siding and travel down the wall
cutting a small notch at base of siding to allow water to drain out onto metal surface (apron flashing)
water will travel to the lowest spot behind the wall
Openings on flashing behind the siding.
Water damage on ceiling,water was pouring out the previous night,damaged interior drywall as well as personal property,car window was open and additional electronic equipment nearby was also ruined by this incident.
